The number of victims in the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV in Novorossiysk increased to eight

The number of people injured in a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Novorossiysk has increased to eight people. This was announced on September 24 in the city hall with reference to the Kuban operations center.

Earlier in the day, the Mayor of Novorossiysk, Andrei Kravchenko, spoke about the repulse of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city. He also urged residents to remain calm and observe security measures. At the same time, the number of victims as a result of the strike increased to six, two died.

The Prosecutor's office of the Krasnodar Territory stated that as a result of the UAV attack in Novorossiysk, the roof of an apartment building caught fire. Novorossiysk Prosecutor Alexei Grudina took control of the situation. The Agency also monitors the observance of citizens' rights and the provision of assistance to them.

Kravchenko later said that a state of emergency had been introduced in Novorossiysk. According to him, a stationary temporary accommodation facility for victims of the consequences of the attack was installed on the basis of the Technical and Economic Lyceum.
