Among the used cars of the "German troika" in Russia, BMW cars are the most popular. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on September 24. In 2025, BMW became the most popular premium brand on the platform, with demand for Mercedes-Benz falling by 10% and for Audi by 14%. These brands account for two to three offers in the segment.

At the same time, among the flagship sedans, users are primarily interested in the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is 22% more popular than the BMW 7 Series. The Audi A8 attracts another 18% less attention. Among the smaller models (the E segment), Audi also proved to be less in demand: there is almost parity between the Mercedes-Benz E-class and the BMW 5 Series (demand for the Bavarian is 4.5% lower), the Audi A6 is more than 30% inferior to them.

In the D segment, there are many more BMW 3 and 4 Series fans than there are competitive models. The demand for Audi A4 is 27.8% lower, for Mercedes-Benz C-class — 36.9%. However, in the segment of off-road vehicles, Audi is among the favorites along with BMW.

In the crossover coupe category, users are most often interested in the Audi Q8 and BMW X6. The Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is noticeably inferior to them: demand is 22% lower. There is a similar trend in the Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE groups: the latter turned out to be 11% less popular. Among the smaller models, the audience was divided between the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 (the Bavarian is only 3.3% lower), and the demand for the Mercedes-Benz GLC-class is 31.5% lower.

At the same time, among the largest SUVs where Audi is not actually represented (the A6 model has not officially reached the Russian market), the Mercedes-Benz GLS-class turned out to be a little more popular.: demand for it is 2.1% higher than for the BMW X7.
