The Lada brand is the leader in online advertising costs among key car companies in Russia. This was announced on September 24 in his Telegram channel by Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, with reference to Digital Budget data.
According to him, Lada's online advertising costs amounted to 378 million rubles this year (+20% year-on-year). Chery is in second place (226 million rubles; -3%), Haval is in third (203 million rubles; -13%). This was followed by Changan (115 million rubles; +28%), Geely (82 million rubles; -1%) and Omoda (81 million rubles; 2.3 times growth). GAC, KGM and FAW rounded out the top ten.
"If in the first half of 2025 the costs of automakers for offline promotion increased by 6%, then in the field of online advertising the growth is three times more. The key players represented in the sample increased the cost of online promotion by 18%," said Tselikov.
Advertising budgets were distributed as follows: contextual advertising — 496 million rubles (+54%); banner advertising — 462 million rubles (0%); advertising in social networks — 201 million rubles (+22%); video formats — 26 million rubles (-52%). The analysis took into account only those advertisements that led to the official websites of advertisers (without promoting brands through dealers).
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the highest demand for new cars in 2025 among the regions of Russia was recorded in the Stavropol Territory. Consumers there are 3.2 times more likely to consider a purchase than the national average.
