Russian tourist underwent three operations after an accident in Alanya
A Russian citizen from Neftekamsk underwent three operations as a result of an accident in Alanya, Turkey, on September 24, the victim's daughter Daria Kozlova told Izvestia.
"It's literally been, like, 10 minutes since the accident itself happened. It was all very unexpected, without any prerequisites," she said.
Kozlova described the moment of the collision, explaining that the bus had stopped and Anexs truck had crashed into it from behind at high speed. The father of the family suffered the most severe injuries.
"He had an open head injury," Kozlova said.
It is noted that the father's condition became more complicated after hospitalization.
"He started complaining about his side, and then it turned out that he had a hemorrhage in his lung. He had his blood pumped out, <...> [it turned out that] his organs were damaged. That is, his spleen and liver were injured. And therefore it was necessary to operate on him and sew up his organs," said the victim's daughter.
Kozlova noted that she had no complaints about the work of Turkish doctors, whose help was provided promptly. However, she added that the family faced a language barrier, because no one spoke Russian in the hospital where her mother was taken.
The victim also explained that the family decided to abandon the registration of the insured event, focusing on the treatment of his father.
Earlier, on September 23, 15 people were injured in an accident with a tourist bus in Turkey. According to information, a bus carrying tourists collided with a minibus at about 09:10 local time (coincides with Moscow time) on the D400 highway in the Konakli area.
