A significant part of the Moldovan population, which advocates good relations with the Russian Federation, was deprived of the right to vote in Moldova. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on September 24.

"We know that the part of the population that supports the development of good relations, including with our country, will not get the right to use their voice in many ways. And this is not about any attempts by Russia to exert influence. Here we are talking about the discontent of a huge part of the Moldovan population due to the fact that they are not given the right to use their vote in elections," he said.
