The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are increasing their control zone on the Dobropolsky salient in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), despite the transfer of serious reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on September 24 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

"We understand that our opponents have deployed serious reserves there. Nevertheless, our fighters are holding somewhere, and somewhere they are increasing the zone of control by our forces," he said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

The head of the DPR noted that the Ukrainian army regularly tries to carry out counterattacks in this direction. In addition, Pushilin added that thanks to the liberation of the Serebryansk forestry in the northern part of Seversk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer have anything to cling to.

Earlier, on September 19, the commander of an assault detachment with the call sign Bur said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants had abandoned equipment and weapons while retreating from the Serebryansk forestry in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). It was clarified that as a result of active hostilities, the enemy was completely knocked out by the military units of the Zapad group of forces.
