Rostec handed over a batch of Su-35S multi-role fighters to the Ministry of Defense

United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation)) It handed over to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation a batch of new Su-35S multi-role fighters. The relevant information was published on Rostec's official website on September 24.

"As part of the execution of the state defense order, the United Aircraft Corporation Rostec has manufactured and transferred new Su-35S aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defense," the statement said.

It is noted that these fighters are designed for the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of the Russian Federation and have passed the necessary factory tests.

"The Su‑35 aircraft is designed to gain air supremacy, including in difficult weather conditions and at great distances from the home airfield. It is a transitional link to fifth—generation aviation complexes," the state corporation stressed.

On August 21, the UAC handed over to the Russian Aerospace Forces another batch of new Su-35S multi-role fighters. The aircraft underwent a full cycle of factory tests, were accepted by the technical staff and tested in various operating modes by pilots of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
