A terrorist attack against an official was prevented in Novosibirsk
In Novosibirsk, a man was arrested while attempting to set fire to the home of an employee of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) in order to destabilize the activities of the body. This was reported on September 24 by the FSB of Russia.
It will be clarified that a resident of Novosibirsk, born in 1989, created a community on a social network and announced that his goal was to destabilize the activities of the FSSP.
During the execution of the terrorist act, he was detained by law enforcement officers. A criminal case was opened against the detainee under Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted terrorist act"). The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months.
"As a result of the acute operational search measures, a resident of Novosibirsk was detained red-handed," the FSB told TASS.
The FSB directorate for the Sverdlovsk Region reported on September 23 that a 33-year-old Russian was detained in Yekaterinburg for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The ministry clarified that a criminal case has been opened against the suspect on the grounds of Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("High treason"). The person involved in the criminal case has been arrested and is in custody.
