Aksyonov called the Kiev attacks on Crimea an attempt to damage the economy.
With attacks on the Republic of Crimea, Kiev is trying to damage the region's economy by intimidating tourists and locals. This was announced on September 24 by the head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.
"[They are] seeking to destabilize the situation on the territory of the Republic of Crimea. <...> To cause even more hatred, chaos, and panic. They are trying to damage the Crimean economy as much as possible, including realizing that Crimea is a tourist potential," he said in an interview with TASS.
Aksyonov stressed that as a result of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), people are suffering, and therefore expressed regret.
It is noted that a highly effective defense system has been built in Crimea, but at the moment there is no air defense system that could provide an absolute guarantee.
On September 21, Aksyonov reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones had attacked the Foros sanatorium. As a result, 15 people were injured, and three more civilians were killed. The next day, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Petrenko, announced that a criminal case had been opened on this fact.
