A column of ash rose to a height of more than 2 km above the Krasheninnikov volcano.

The Krasheninnikov volcano in Kamchatka spewed ash 2.4 km above sea level. This was announced on September 24 by the Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Group (KVERT).

"The explosions raised the ashes of the Krasheninnikov volcano 2.4 km above sea level. The ash plume stretches for 132 km to the east–southeast of the volcano," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that at the moment there is a danger of ash emissions to an altitude of up to 6 km above sea level. Continued activity may affect low-flying aircraft. In addition, an "orange" aviation hazard code was declared for the volcano.

Sergey Lebedev, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory, announced on September 19 that a wave of more than 60 cm had been recorded near the Semyachika volcano in Kamchatka.

On August 18, KVERT reported that the Shiveluch volcano in Kamchatka released ash, raising it to an altitude of 4 km above sea level. It is specified that the ash plume stretches 40 km west of the volcano. The volcano's activity is considered dangerous for local air travel.
