On September 24, the FSB of Russia published footage of the destruction by the Gorynych anti-terrorist unit of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dzerzhinsky area of the special military operation (SVO).

In the course of combat operations, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) destroyed the locations of Ukrainian militants, from which they controlled drones attacking civilians in the settlements of Dzerzhinsk and Gorlovka of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

On September 23, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces (AF) continue to destroy the encircled group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Kleban-Byk in the Donetsk People's Republic. During the operations, strikes were carried out against formations of four mechanized and assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as brigades of marines, air defense and National Guard.
