Novosibirsk Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev commented on the consequences of a fire in the city zoo on September 24, which killed at least five animals, and promised to provide comprehensive support in restoring the infrastructure.

"We will hold a meeting on its further work and the restoration of infrastructure. Novosibirsk City Hall will provide comprehensive assistance," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

In addition, Kudryavtsev said that zoo director Andrey Shilo confirmed the deaths of five animals, including a black and white cow, a Scottish bull, two llamas and one alpaca.
