The fire in the Novosibirsk zoo has been eliminated.

The fire at the Novosibirsk Zoo has been extinguished. This was reported on September 24 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"The fire has been completely eliminated," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that 24 animals were saved.

Earlier, on September 23, a fire was reported in the Novosibirsk Zoo. The press service of the Novosibirsk Region Prosecutor's office noted that firefighters were able to contain the fire. It was later reported that firefighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with employees of the Novosibirsk zoo, were able to rescue over 20 animals from the fire.
