- Residents of Lgov in the Kursk region were left without electricity due to the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Residents of five districts of the Kursk region were left without electricity as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on September 24 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.
"As a result of enemy strikes on energy facilities, some consumers of the Lgovsky, Rylsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky and Konyshevsky districts were left without electricity," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
It is specified that the Rylsky, Glushkovsky and Korenevsky districts were switched to backup power sources. In Lgovsky and Konyshevsky districts, restoration work will begin after the operational situation improves.
Earlier, on September 17, Khinstein reported that an APU drone attacked a gas station in the city of Lgov. As a result of the arrival, the fence and the utility room were damaged.
