Five people were injured in a rocket attack by the Armed Forces of Belgorod
Belgorod was subjected to rocket fire by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result of which five civilians were injured. This was announced on September 23 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"Three men and a woman with shrapnel wounds to their arms and legs are being taken by ambulance to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. Another man with shrapnel wounds to his legs and arterial bleeding is being taken to the regional clinical hospital. All necessary assistance is being provided to the victims," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
It is specified that one building caught fire on the territory of the enterprise, firefighters eliminated the source of ignition. The glazing of a nearby object is damaged.
Operational services are working on site. Information about the consequences is being clarified, Gladkov added.
On the same day, Gladkov said that residents of Belgorod should leave their children at home because of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the city. The day before, the governor said that the situation in the Krasnoyaruzhsky and Rakityansky districts of the Belgorod region is tense due to the increased frequency of strikes by Ukrainian drones.
