A Russian woman who was injured in Alanya told the details of a bus accident

Svetlana Grebenshchikova, a Russian tourist who was injured in a bus accident in Alanya, Turkey, told Izvestia on September 23 that her husband was in the hospital and "did not understand where he was" after the incident.

It is noted that the couple arrived from St. Petersburg and was traveling from the airport to the hotel.

"He doesn't understand where he is. That is, he doesn't think anything at all <... > I do not even know where he is, in which hospital. I can't check into a hotel, nothing," the woman shared.

According to Grebenshchikova, she managed to escape with bruises to her leg and face, so after the hospital, the victim was taken to the local police to take a statement, but due to the language barrier, she cannot contact anyone and is waiting for an interpreter.

A tourist bus was involved in an accident in Alanya earlier that day. It was clarified that the transport collided with a minibus at about 09:10 a.m. on the D400 highway in the Konakli area. There were more than 20 tourists from Russia on the bus at the time of the accident. Shortly after, the Russian Consulate General in Antalya announced that three Russian tourists who were on the bus arrived in serious condition, while 18 people were hospitalized.
