The expert appreciated the initiative to introduce AI safety lessons in schools

Natalia Savinkina, an expert from the educational environment, deputy director of the school, appreciated on Tuesday, September 23, the proposal of Boris Chernyshov, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, to introduce safety lessons in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in schools.

According to her, it is important to teach children not only how to use technology, but also how to recognize potential threats.

"Most likely, many of us have encountered situations where information from the network could be distorted or manipulated. Lessons on safe interaction with AI could support a student in such situations, helping to form a stable digital behavior," Savinkina said in an interview with RuNews24.ru .

She believes that the proposed adaptation of the module content for different age groups is a positive aspect, as it will not only inform students, but also equip them with the necessary skills to navigate the digital world.

"Elementary school students should gain basic knowledge about digital security, while high school students can deepen their knowledge about the legal aspects of AI and ethical issues," the expert noted.

At the same time, Savinkina added that creating a secure digital environment is not only the task of educational institutions, but also of parents, as well as the whole society.
