The lawyer told about the fines for picking mushrooms on private lands
You can get a fine for picking mushrooms in specially protected natural areas and on private lands. This was stated on September 23 by Olga Stepanova, a lawyer, Candidate of Law, member of the Public Chamber for Children's Rights under the President of the Russian Federation.
"Article 8.26 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Unauthorized use of forests, violation of the rules for the use of forests for agriculture, destruction of forest resources." — Ed.) provides for liability for violations of the rules for harvesting food forest resources," she said in an interview with the Federal Press.
She added that there is an administrative responsibility for picking mushrooms in designated places, which include lands of specially protected natural territories, forest areas where a special fire protection regime has been introduced and private lands.
For picking mushrooms in the wrong place, an individual can receive a fine from 500 to 1 thousand rubles, an official — from 1 thousand to 2 thousand rubles, a legal entity — from 10 thousand to 20 thousand rubles, clarifies "Газета.Ru ".
On September 21, State Duma Deputy Sergei Kolunov spoke about fines for picking mushrooms in nature reserves, national parks and other protected areas. Picking mushrooms in such places may result in an administrative fine under Article 8.39 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
