- In the KHL, a hockey player dropped an electronic cigarette on the ice during a match.
One of the St. Petersburg Dynamo Neva hockey players had an electronic cigarette fall out on the ice during the Women's Hockey League (WHL) match against Agideli from Ufa. The Ufa club posted a video of this moment on September 23.
"We are not hinting at anything, but smoking harms the opponent's health," they wrote on the club's Telegram channel.
The match ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of Agideli. None of the players were punished.
In March, doctors said that "popcorn disease" can cause serious damage to health, lead to disability, and in some cases be fatal. It is noted that oils and other components of vaping liquids enter the lungs, damage them and cause an inflammatory process.
