On September 23, the father of American billionaire Elon Musk, Errol Musk, denied media accusations of child sexual abuse.

"The only accusation I know of is related to Yana [Errol Musk's stepdaughter]. This charge was dismissed in court by two judges: Judge Mrs. Enslin and, a month later (on appeal), by President Kritzinger of the court. The judges went further and ruled that my daughter Alexandra (she was four years old at the time) should be removed from her mother's custody and handed over to me. Judge Kritzinger added in his decision that neither my ex-wife nor any of her family can see Alexandra without the presence of a social worker," the elder Musk said.

He added that after the incident, he and his ex-wife Heide-Marie remarried and lived together for another seven years. During this time, the couple had a daughter named Asha-Rose.

"One Friday night, I stayed in the house that I gave to Heide-Marie after I brought Alexandra from the boarding house. I lived in a spare room. Yana came to my room at night. The light woke me up. I asked Yana what she wanted, and she literally attacked me. She smelled of alcohol. I was lying on my back the whole time. The next day, she told her mother that I had lured her to my room," Musk said.

He also denied the accusations that he allegedly sniffed his stepdaughter's dirty underwear, saying that at that moment Yana caught him cleaning her room. Musk then returned to Los Angeles after a month in South Africa. He shared that the house was in terrible condition at the time, and his family was having a great time and doing what they wanted. They didn't like that Musk was back, and then they decided to take revenge.

According to the elder Mask, Yana was a drug addict for a while, but she had never been homeless. Between 2005 and 2014, the elder Musk and Yana saw each other two or three times.

"Yana came back into my life in 2014, when she was 27 years old. She already had a four-year-old daughter who was taken away by the social protection service. She told me that she lived with a "surfer" in an abandoned mall. She wrote: "I know you think I'm a bad person, but please help me, otherwise I'll commit suicide." I showed it to the rest of the family who were with me, but they all said that it was not worth helping her," said the elder Musk.

He stated that he immediately helped her with money and bought her new clothes. He continued to send her money through an ATM, which she had enough for food and toiletries. In 2016, Yana's young man, a "surfer", kicked her out of the mall, after which Yana immediately called her former stepfather. He gave her a car and asked her to come home. So she stayed at home for three weeks, and after that she got together with her "surfer" for a while.

Errol Musk also talked about traveling and living in the United States.

"I took my family to Los Angeles to meet my newborn grandson (Elon's firstborn. — Ed.). While we were on the trip, my grandson passed away. It was a heavy blow for the whole family. Elon offered to stay in the USA. Heide-Marie did not want to stay in America. We tried, but eventually returned to South Africa and continued our lives there. I helped at SpaceX, I wasn't "hired" officially. I didn't need a visa," Musk said.

Regarding the attacks on the topic of children living in an orphanage for some time, Errol Musk reported that the children were placed in an orphanage by Heide-Marie after their divorce in 1995.

The elder Musk also said that after his second divorce from Heide-Marie in 2005, his son Jacques moved in with him to prepare a yacht. He was 15 years old at the time. Errol Musk warned Heide-Marie not to let him drive, but she didn't listen. In December 2006, Jacques died after driving off the road at high speed while visiting his mother for a few days.

"There is no evidence because it's nonsense," Musk said of the allegations of harassment against his son Elliot.

Earlier in the day, The New York Times conducted an investigation and stated that Errol Musk has been accused of sexually abusing five of his children and stepsons since 1993. According to the newspaper, Elon Musk provided financial support to his former stepmother and two stepsisters and sends monthly money transfers to his former stepsister in order to keep them in California away from Errol.
