US President Donald Trump said during the United Nations General Assembly on September 23 that he was working tirelessly to end the conflict in Ukraine.

"I thought it would be the easiest thing to do, because I have always had good relations with President [Russian Federation Vladimir] Putin. I always thought it would be the easiest thing to do. But in a conflict, you never know what will happen," he said.
