Cosmetics may be launched in Russia under the Aurus brand.

In Russia, the Aurus brand, under which luxury cars are produced, can be used, among other things, for cosmetics, scented candles and diffusers. This was reported by RIA Novosti on September 23. The relevant trademarks have been filed with Rospatent.

The applications were submitted to the department on September 18, and FSUE NAMI was indicated as the applicant. According to TASS, the trademark is registered according to three classes of the international Classification of goods and services (ICTS), which include cosmetic and toilet non-medical products, aromatic candles and food.

In particular, the company will be able to produce and sell cereal bars, ice cream, diffusers, cocoa, coffee capsules, hair lotion and other products under the Aurus brand.

Prior to that, on September 10, it became known that the former CEO of the aircraft manufacturing company Yakovlev, Andrey Boginsky, took over the post of head of the Russian company Aurus.

Izvestia reported on June 19 that the Russian luxury car brand Aurus is exploring the possibility of launching commercial sales of large Arsenal minivans, which are currently used only in the government's Special Purpose Garage.
