The pavilion hung on the edge of the slope due to an accident in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, a part of the slope with an illegally installed pavilion slid down on Nikitin Street. Emergency services are working at the site.

KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, with reference to the first deputy head of the city, Alexander Matsak, writes that the cause of the emergency was a burst sewer pipe with a large diameter. It is more than 60 years old, and repairs are planned only for the next 2026.

The authorities promise not to disconnect nearby houses from water and sewerage during the repair. The illegal pavilion will be dismantled.

In early September, it was reported that the government would receive the authority to approve the procedure for investigating accidents at water pipes. Such amendments, developed by the Ministry of Construction, were approved by the government commission on legislative activity.
