A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. In response to the terrorist attack on civilian targets in Foros in Crimea, Russian troops launched a group strike on temporary deployment sites of the Special Operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and foreign mercenaries, as well as airfield facilities and enterprises related to the production of unmanned aerial vehicles. All the goals have been achieved, the facilities have been hit.

In addition, the storage sites of unmanned aerial vehicles at the Shkolny airfield in the Odessa region, from which attack drones were launched at civilian infrastructure facilities in the Republic of Crimea, were affected.

An attack was also carried out on the workshops of the Motor Sich enterprise of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, in which the unmanned aerial vehicles used by the Kiev regime for strikes on the territory of Russia were assembled.

Units of the North group of forces defeated the formations of two mechanized, jaeger brigades, the assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Solyaniki, Andreevka, Pavlovka, Alekseevka and Varachino of the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv direction, units of the motorized infantry, two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Volchansk and Bochkovo in the Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 180 soldiers, six vehicles and an artillery piece.

Units of the Zapad group of forces improved their tactical situation by defeating the manpower and equipment of three mechanized and assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Kupyansk and Kirovsk. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 230 military personnel, four armored combat vehicles, 17 vehicles and a howitzer. Two AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar stations, nine electronic warfare (EW) stations and five ammunition depots were destroyed.

Units of the southern group of forces liberated the settlement of Perezdnoye in the DPR and occupied more advantageous lines and positions, defeating formations of six mechanized, motorized infantry, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two air defense brigades and a National Guard brigade in the areas of Seversk, Maisky, Reznikovka, Minkovka, Berestok, Ivanopolya and Konstantinovka of the Donetsk People's Republic. The enemy lost up to 250 soldiers, an M-113 armored personnel carrier, a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, 12 vehicles and four artillery pieces. Two electronic warfare stations, four ammunition depots and a fuel depot were destroyed.

Units of the Center group of forces improved their position along the front line, defeating the manpower and equipment of four mechanized, airmobile, assault, two amphibious assault brigades and three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Dimitrov, Moskovsky, Rodinsky, Krasny Liman, Krasnoarmeysk, Balagan, Krasnoarmeysk, Slavyanka and Novonikolayevka of the Donetsk People's Republic and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 580 soldiers, two tanks, eight vehicles and three artillery pieces.

Units of the Vostok group of forces advanced into the depths of the enemy's defenses and liberated the Kalinovskoye settlement of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Formations of two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade and a defense brigade were defeated in the areas of Verbovoye, Vishnevoye, Stepovoye, Dnipropetrovsk region and Poltavka, Zaporizhia region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 330 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, 24 vehicles, as well as an electronic warfare station.

Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of two coastal defense brigades, a mountain assault brigade and three air defense brigades in the areas of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. Up to 60 military personnel, seven vehicles and three electronic warfare stations were destroyed.

Tactical aircraft, attack drones, missile forces and artillery have damaged launchers and the Patriot AN/MPQ-65 radar station, US-made rail transport facilities and military airfield infrastructure, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces in 152 districts.

Air defense systems shot down three guided aerial bombs, three HIMARS rockets and 438 drones of various types.

Since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 86,260 unmanned aerial vehicles, 630 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25,220 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,592 multiple launch rocket systems, 29,851 field artillery guns and 42,454 units of special military vehicles.
