The tourist season is officially over in the national park in Transbaikalia

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the tourist season officially ended in the Alkhanai National Park on Tuesday, September 23. From this day on, the park will not provide accommodation services.

However, it is not forbidden to visit Alkhanakh on your own. This can be done until mid—October, and then by special permission. It is issued at the main office of the national park, writes the ChitaMedia news agency.

In April, Alkhanai was closed to tourists due to the introduction of a fire-hazardous period on its territory. The Ministry of Natural Resources of the region explained that a regional emergency regime and a special fire protection regime have been introduced in the forests of the region. Thus, visits to the park, located on the territory of the Duldurginsky forestry, were limited.
