Sheremetyevo Airport began checking after flight delays

At Sheremetyevo Airport, surveillance measures have begun to be carried out in connection with flight delays. This was announced on September 23 by the Moscow Interregional transport prosecutor's office in the Telegram channel of the department.

Due to the introduction of temporary air restrictions at the airport on September 22 and 23, aircraft acceptance and release were suspended, and the Transport Prosecutor's Office is currently monitoring passenger rights.

It is specified that as of the morning of September 23, 48 flights were delayed for departure.

It will not be easy to achieve compensation for moral damage — a large-scale failure may be recognized as force majeure.

Earlier in the day, restrictions on the Carpet signal were lifted in Sheremetyevo. Later, Aeroflot announced plans to return to normal flight operations to and from Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow by the end of September 23. It was clarified that all airline services are operating in an enhanced mode.
