In the Khabarovsk diocese, with the blessing of Metropolitan Artemy of Khabarovsk and Amur, an ark with a part of the Belt of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be located from October 8 to 12. It will be delivered from the Kazan Cathedral of St. Petersburg.

According to IA AmurMedia, with reference to the information department of the Khabarovsk Diocese, the shrine will be located in the Transfiguration Cathedral of Khabarovsk. It will be delivered there from Vladivostok.

Prayer services will be held every day at the ark from 13:00 to 15:00. On Sunday, October 12, prayer services will go on all day, and at 9:00 a.m. the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the Belt of the Virgin. The shrine will be available for worship during the temple's opening hours.

The belt of the Blessed Virgin Mary is considered one of the greatest shrines associated with the life of the Mother of God. She wove it out of camel's hair herself and wore it until the Assumption. Since the fourth century, the shrine has been located in Constantinople in a golden ark with the royal seal. In the 10th century, the Belt was divided into parts. One of them is kept on Mount Athos. In 2011, the Belt was brought to Russia. The shrine visited 14 cities, and more than 3 million pilgrims worshiped it. In 2011, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Kazan Cathedral, a piece of the Belt was transferred to eternal storage in St. Petersburg.

On September 17, the Orthodox Church celebrated a holiday in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush". This image symbolizes invincible protection from fire, troubles and spiritual misfortunes. The holiday contains deep theological and historical meanings and retains important spiritual significance for believers of all generations.
