Beglov called St. Petersburg the flagship of Russian shipbuilding

St. Petersburg has been and remains the main center of Russian shipbuilding. This was stated by the Governor of the city, Alexander Beglov, during a speech at the Marine Breakfast at the 18th International Exhibition and Conference on Civil Shipbuilding, Shipping, port Activities, ocean and Shelf Development Neva 2025 in St. Petersburg.

"St. Petersburg has been and remains the flagship of Russian shipbuilding. We are proud of our industrial potential and our shipwrights. Fulfilling the tasks set by the President, the city aims to further develop the industry, create new jobs, and increase competitiveness. I am confident that Neva 2025 will be another step towards ensuring the country's technological leadership," said Alexander Beglov.

The forum, which is attended by about 700 delegates, is designed to attract more than 35,000 visitors. During the four days of its work, an extensive business program is provided, which includes a plenary session, as well as over 30 conferences, round tables and working sessions.

The shipbuilders of St. Petersburg presented their products at the Expoforum exhibition. The best examples of Russian—made marine robotics are presented at the general stand of the city enterprises - unmanned boats and control systems for them, onboard and shore electronics, software for controlling unmanned fleets.
