According to the publication, the show will not be shown on the TV channel until Kimmel "apologizes to Kirk's family," makes a "meaningful personal donation" to her and Kirk's activist group Turning Point USA, and "meets with Sinclair representatives."

The article emphasizes that Sinclair will "displace" Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC partner channels and replace it with news programs. Negotiations are currently underway with ABC about a possible return of the show.
