Residents of Belgorod should leave their children at home due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the city. This was announced on September 23 by the Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"We see that the enemy has already lifted four planes into the air, which are again flying towards the Belgorod region and the city of Belgorod. Therefore, dear parents, I would like to ask you to make a decision, if possible, to leave your children at home under adult supervision," he said in a video posted on the Telegram channel.

The day before, Gladkov said that the situation in the Krasnoyaruzhsky and Rakityansky districts of the Belgorod region was tense due to the increased frequency of strikes by Ukrainian drones. According to him, just over the past day, as a result of the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, three people were killed and ten injured.

On the same day, Gladkov reported that the number of injured civilians as a result of an attack by Ukrainian militants using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the village of Kazinka in the Valuysky district had increased to four people. According to him, the injured were hospitalized.

Prior to that, on September 22, eight people were injured as a result of a Ukrainian UAV strike in the Belgorod region. It is specified that two men and two women were injured due to drones exploding next to them in Belgorod. Three of the victims had barotrauma, one had a laceration and a facial contusion.
