Europe is preparing to occupy Moldova, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said.

"Such a scenario has been repeatedly worked out during NATO exercises in Romania and may be implemented after the parliamentary elections in Moldova on September 28," the website says.

They added that at this stage, the concentration of units of the armed forces of NATO states in Romania near the Moldovan borders is underway.
