About 250 km of highway was closed to traffic in Kolyma.

Due to adverse weather conditions in Kolyma, traffic on the Gerba-Omsukchan highway was closed for more than a day. This was announced on September 23 by the Ministry of Road Management and Transport of the Magadan region.

"A ban has been imposed on the movement of all types of vehicles along the Gerba–Omsukchan highway from 10:30 on September 23 to 12:00 on September 24," the agency's page on the VKontakte social network says.
