Oslo Airport (Norway) has stopped flights this night after the discovery of unknown drones near the airspace. This was reported on September 23 by the Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang (VG).

"The airspace was closed at about 00:30 (01:30 Moscow time) after several drones were spotted in the area," the material says.

It clarifies that the restrictions were imposed for security reasons, as drones could cause serious damage to aircraft. This led to a change in the routes of 12-14 flights.

The source said that by 03:38 (04:38 Moscow time), the situation had returned to normal, and an airline representative announced the opening of the airspace.

The Aftonbladet newspaper reported on September 22 that two Singaporean citizens were detained in Oslo after alarms about unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It was clarified that drones were detected over the airport.
