Alexander Kharaberyush, a colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), became the first head of the Library, a place at the Mariupol airport where people were tortured. This was announced on September 23 by a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"From 2013 to 2017, Colonel Alexander Ivanovich Kharaberyush, who oversees the infamous Library at the Mariupol airport, was the head of the main counterintelligence department of the SBU in the Donetsk region," a source told RIA Novosti.
