- Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces told the details about the liberation of Novoivanovka in Zaporozhye
Military personnel of the 394th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Vostok group of forces revealed the details of the liberation of the settlement of Novoivanovka in the Zaporizhia region. The relevant footage is published on September 23 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the shooter with the call sign Director, who before joining the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation really headed the educational institution, said that before approaching the settlement, the clearing of the forest belt was carried out for further entry into the territory of the assault groups.
"They performed it as a normal task — to enter carefully, quietly, and identify the enemy. <...> Strengthen. The usual tasks, as before the tasks were. We have it (the task. — Ed.) One thing is to reach, win, and that's it. That's the whole task," he clarified.
The soldier added that by his example he illustrates to the students, with many of whom he keeps in touch, the manifestation of patriotism.
His colleague, an MT-Lbu driver with the call sign Barabash, reported that they had to act quickly when liberating Novoivanovka. He clarified that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used civilians as "human shields."
"We requested evacuation for the civilian population, medics arrived on quad bikes and helped, provided assistance. There were many of them (civilians. — Ed.) crippled: the legs were broken with sticks, it is clear that they were beaten. <...> You look at it all and you want to cry," said the driver.
Barabash added that after suppressing the rather active fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was conducted from machine guns, the Russian military began to provide assistance to the civilian population. According to him, as a result of this operation, 18 Ukrainian militants surrendered to Russian captivity, who also asked the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces to help them.
On September 19, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the liberation of Novonikolayevka. The Ministry also clarified the liberation of the Russian Armed Forces of the village of Muravka, which is located on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
