Air defense systems eliminated more than seven unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on approach to Sevastopol. This was announced on the evening of September 22 by the governor of the region Mikhail Razvozhaev.

"Our military has worked on all targets over the sea: more than six drones were destroyed on approach to Sevastopol and one, according to preliminary information, over a field in the Kachi area," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, no civilian facilities were damaged as a result of the incident.

On September 23, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that in nine hours, starting from 15:00 Moscow time on September 22 to 0:00 Moscow time on September 23, 81 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were eliminated over the territory of Russia.
