Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) French footballer Ousmane Dembele has received the Golden Ball award. This was reported by L'Equipe magazine on September 22.

The award ceremony took place on the stage of the Chatelet Theater. The award was presented by Brazilian Ranaldinho, winner of the 2005 Golden Sword. Barcelona midfielder Lamin Yamal came second, while PSG midfielder Vitinje took third place.

Dembele is a striker for PSG and the French national team. In the 2024/25 season, together with his football club, he won the Champions League, the Super Cup and the French Cup and reached the finals in the Club World Cup. The footballer scored 35 goals and provided 14 assists in 53 matches for the club.

"Dembele shed tears remembering the difficult moments of his career, injuries and periods of doubt," the article says.

Among them were Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid), Desiree Douai (PSG), Robert Lewandowski, Rafinha and Lamin Yamal (both from Barcelona), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) and other famous football players.
