Earthquake of magnitude 6.0 recorded in Kamchatka

An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 occurred off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula. This was announced on September 22 by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (USGS RAS).

It is specified that the epicenter was recorded 196 km south-east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The seismic event was located at a depth of 21 km.
