The next recruitment process will be conducted by electronic and paper subpoenas.
It is planned to use electronic and paper summonses as part of the autumn draft. This was announced at a briefing on September 22 by the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff, Vice Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky.
According to him, the autumn conscription into the Armed Forces of Russia will begin on October 1 and will take place as planned until December 31.
"Electronic summonses will be used to notify conscripts. Information about their referral is entered into the publicly available register of subpoenas," Tsimlyansky said.
Tsimlyansky also noted that in case of failure to appear for conscription without a valid reason, temporary restrictive measures aimed at ensuring the citizen's turnout will be applied within 20 days.
He added that all conscripts participating in the autumn campaign will serve only in Russia and will not be sent to the special military operation zone.
On August 29, it was reported that the decision on conscription would be subject to execution within a year from the date of its issuance. In accordance with the updated rules, conscripts may receive summonses to update information.
