Sechenov University professor Amina Garayeva was arrested in Moscow.

In Moscow, a court has detained Professor Amina Garayeva of the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (MGMU). This was reported on September 22 in the Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the city.

"The investigator's request to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of Garayeva Amina Sultanovna, accused of committing a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Mediation in bribery"), has been granted," the publication says.

It is specified that the term of detention will be two months.
