Eight people were injured due to UAV attacks in the Belgorod region

As a result of the strike of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Belgorod region, eight people were injured. This was announced on September 22 by the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

It is noted that two men and two women were injured due to drones exploding next to them in Belgorod. Three of the victims had barotrauma, one had a laceration and a facial contusion.

In the village of Chapaevsky (Grayvoronsky district), a fighter of the Orlan unit was injured as a result of an FPV drone attack. The victim was admitted to the hospital with a closed craniocerebral injury and barotrauma, the report says.

In addition, three civilians are reported to have felt their condition worsen after yesterday's drone attacks in the region. Two were diagnosed with barotrauma, one with a mine explosion injury and a shrapnel wound to the leg.

Six of the eight victims are being treated in city hospitals, where doctors provide them with all necessary care.

Earlier in the day, Gladkov reported three dead and 10 injured from a drone strike in the Belgorod region. The head of the region expressed hope for an improvement in the security situation in the near future. According to him, the units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the border guard service and the soldiers of the Orlan and Bars-Belgorod detachments are making every effort to achieve this goal.
