President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has registered a bill on sending units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to other countries. This was reported on September 22 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

According to the newspaper, Zelensky suggested that the Verkhovna Rada send the Ukrainian military to Turkey and the United Kingdom.

"This is discussed in the bill 14059 submitted by the president to the Parliament "On the deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to other states," the publication's Telegram channel says.

According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, this law is "necessary" because thanks to this step, the Ukrainian military "will be able to obtain sophisticated military equipment" and "master its use."

It is noted that Kiev plans to send the Hetman Ivan Mazepa Navy corvette (of the Ada type) and 106 military personnel to Turkey, and a number of mine—fighting ships to the UK."Газета.Ru ".

Earlier, on September 16, the head of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, Grigory Karasin, told Izvestia that the decision of the United Kingdom and the European Union (EU) to extend training programs for the Armed Forces of Ukraine until the end of 2026 shows their intention to prolong the conflict in Ukraine. Earlier, London decided to extend the Interflex program for training Ukrainian militants until the end of 2026.
