The scientist spoke about protecting young people from hybrid threats
Scientists at the Russian State University for the Humanities (RGGU) have developed an innovative method of social immunization to protect young people from psychological effects in a hybrid war. The social immunization methodology is not just a set of recommendations for the authorities, it is a comprehensive system where the family, teachers and the "third sector" play a key role, Viktor Sapryka, professor of the Department of Political Sociology and Social Technologies at the Russian State University of Economics, said on Monday, September 22.
He told Radio 1 that the new methodology relies not on formal institutions, but on the direct involvement of young people in social projects and support from family and community leaders.
According to Sapryka, research shows a high willingness of young people to be socially active: 54% are ready to implement themselves in regional projects, and 69% consider social activity necessary for the country. He stressed that the goal is to give young people opportunities for self-realization in a positive way.
"The third sector plays an important role here — public chambers, veterans' and volunteer organizations that share their experience," the expert said.
Separately, the scientist noted the role of family and school. In his opinion, it is in the family that the basic understanding of threats is laid.
Earlier that day, the Center for Political Conjuncture (CPC) reported that Moscow projects are drawing attention to the patriotic agenda, and the city is actively integrating the patriotic agenda into educational projects, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
