The Estonian side has no evidence of a violation of the country's airspace, which it accuses the Russian Federation of. This was stated on September 22 by Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, during a meeting of the UN Security Council.

"Our neighbors are now imagining that Russia is responsible for the violation of Estonian airspace. As always, there is no evidence, except for the Russophobic hysteria from Tallinn, which our Estonian colleagues will show us in colors today," he said.
