60% of employers expect basic AI skills from employees, and every fourth employee in Russia uses neural networks at work. This was confirmed on September 22 by the results of a study of the online recruiting platform. hh.ru and the IT company Touch Instinct, conducted at the request of TASS.
The survey was conducted among 2.7 thousand applicants and 140 employers.
"The majority of employers surveyed (60%) expect employees to possess basic AI skills: searching for information and ideas using ChatGPT, GigaChat, DeepSeek and other services," the study says.
The surveyed managers also believe that having AI competencies in the future can become a leading skill in all industries. According to the survey, a quarter of employers plan to assess the level of neural network proficiency of their employees and applicants in the near future.
"In our experience, the use of artificial intelligence in IT doubles the quality and speed of work," added Vyacheslav Lobozov, Director of Development at Touch Instinct.
On September 19, Maxim Nedyakin, an expert in the field of organization management, said that in the next 3-5 years many professions where work is strictly regulated will disappear. He noted that where it is necessary to improvise, take responsibility and build trust, the car loses.
