A woman was injured in a drunken triple accident in Murmansk

In Murmansk, as a result of a drunken accident involving three cars, one of the motorists was injured. This is reported by the Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The accident occurred last Saturday, September 20, on Kola Avenue. In the daytime, a 43-year-old Mercedes-Benz driver crashed into a Kia Sorento, which stopped ahead at a traffic light. The Kia was thrown against the Suzuki Grand Vitara by the impact.

As a result of the collision, a 41-year-old woman who was driving a Kia was injured. She was taken to the hospital with injuries. Doctors examined her and provided assistance, she did not need hospitalization, writes the Bi-port news agency.

As it turned out, the woman driving the Mercedes was intoxicated at the time of the accident. The breathalyzer showed an alcohol content of 0.808 m/l of exhaled air. The car was placed in a special parking lot, and an administrative report was drawn up against the motorist.

Earlier in the day, Izvestia was informed by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry that 669 road accidents were recorded on the country's roads over the past weekend, in which 97 people were killed and 810 injured. 78 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
