Three people were injured when a car hit a pedestrian in the Lipetsk region.
In the Lipetsk region, as a result of an accident involving a pedestrian, three people were injured, including the driver of a car. This is reported by GOROD48 with reference to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident occurred on Sunday, September 21, on the Gryazi–Dobrinka highway. It was previously established that a 52-year-old Renault driver had run over a 32-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, a 32-year-old male pedestrian was injured, as well as the driver of the car and his 51-year-old passenger. People suffered injuries of varying severity.
According to the publication, a total of 10 accidents with victims occurred in the region from Friday to Sunday. As a result, 13 people were injured and one person died. The fatal accident happened on Friday on the Khlevnoe–Terbiny road. The driver of a Ford car was killed in a collision with a tree.
Earlier in the day, Izvestia was informed by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry that 669 road accidents were recorded on the country's roads over the past weekend, in which 97 people were killed and 810 injured. 78 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
