Ex-State Duma deputy Balbek was detained in the CBD in a criminal case

Rusalan Balbek, a former State Duma deputy and ex-deputy chairman of the Crimean government, was detained in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. This was announced on September 22 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

"A criminal case is underway against the 48-year-old defendant under articles Part 3 of Article 272 and Part 5 of Article 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention," the Telegram channel said in a statement.
