The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has eliminated the deputy head of the naval police of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip. This was announced on September 22 in the press service of the department.
"The Israeli Air Force eliminated Iyad Abu Yusuf, deputy commander of the Hamas naval police, with a pinpoint strike on the central camps," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that his elimination dealt a significant blow to the capabilities of the Hamas naval police, which, among other things, collects intelligence about the IDF troops.
