The autumn conscription into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will begin on October 1 and will take place as planned until December 31. This was announced at a briefing on September 22 by the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff, Vice Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky.

"I would like to note that conscripted military personnel will not be involved in the tasks of a special military operation," he stressed.
